Campaign Story
My son was a drug addict since he was 11 years old. I have spent years living with his addiction and finally at the age of 30 he decided to get help.
I am so happy that he made this choice. It is not easy living with an addict.
There aren't many free rehabs in South Africa and I can’t as a single parent supporting my son, daughter (due to lack of work opportunities in the country) and grandson afford the cost of the rehabs.
My church stepped in and sponsored him for three months, but they say do not have the funds to continue funding him. He is not ready to be reintegrated into society and needs another year in the rehab centre.
If I don't get funds to pay the rehab soon, that is by the end of August he will have to leave and these three months will have been all in vain.
These funds will help him to live a well adjusted life and have the chance to be able to see his daughter that was taken away from him due to his use of drugs.
