Campaign Story
We are a family of 4 who has 6 weeks left to come up with back mortgage. We fell behind on the mortgage due to our son became really ill and hospitalized. We missed work for numerous days. When he came home from the hospital, we still could not leave him alone. Then he ended up back in the hospital. That is how we fell behind. We tried to work with the bank and they denied helping us. Then we tried the hope line which put us in contact with hemap. However, while waiting for a decision from hemap the bank sent us foreclosure papers. Yesterday May 3 we got a letter of denial for hemap. Now we do not know whatelse to do. We owe $6000 towards our home, because of or son's medical issues plus we had a recent car fire. We have always kept up with our mortgage for the past 5 years until this happened. Now since our son is home and on medications, we have been paying the mortgage every month on time, but the bank and hemap does not care about that. If we do not come up with 6000 ASAP the bank is taking our house. We do not want to loss our home, please help keep us in it God bless everyone who helps and shares this.
