Medical assitance for Jerick’s Mom. (Lymphoma)

Hi, my name is KC. I created this campaign to help my friend and fellow gamer, Jerick (JJJ_HHH), raise funds for his mother’s treatment for Lymphoma.

Jerick’s mom, Jocelyn, 59 years old, was diagnosed with lymphoma last year while she was working in Canada. The doctors there told her she had only a few months left to live. Upon knowing this, Jocelyn immediately flew back to the Philippines to get treatment. More importantly, she wanted to spend what could be her life’s remaining days with those dearest to her heart: her sons, and her mother. Luckily then, after months of treatment, the huge lump on her neck gradually decreased in size. In fact, the doctor told Jocelyn that there was no need for further operation since their treatment was believed to be effective. Everyone thought she was already cancer-free.

It was in August 2017 when Jerick started noticing that his mom’s neck was again getting bigger. It’s a relapse. This time, however, the lump grew faster than before. In fact, the growth was so advanced that eventually it got bigger than her head. For Jocelyn, the only option now was to give up. She had already spent all her savings, including that of her sons, on the previous treatment.

Jerick has a different plan. He will never give up on his mom.

Some of you may or may not know Jerick, but I can tell you that he is a great person, and more than that he is an even better son. He is doing absolutely everything in his power to save his mom. However, as all of you are aware, fighting cancer is never cheap. And they have spent all their money on her previous treatment. For now, Jerick could only take care of his mom at home. He helps her get through the pain everyday. It breaks my heart to know what he is going through right now. Seeing his mother get weaker by the day, not able to do much else.

This has brought me to request for help in his behalf. Since he doesn’t have the time or the energy to make this campaign, I initiated this for him.

Every donation, no matter small, would be of great help. Your generosity buys more than just treatment for Jocelyn; it also buys Jerick more time to be with his mom.
