Kayden Eldrich with Cystic Hygroma

Hi everyone, This is Baby Kayden Eldrich Las Marias from Philippines. He was born with cystic hygroma, a rare type of disease that causes blockage in the lymphatic system. He was diagnosed with cystic hygroma on his congenital anomaly scan. From then, a series of laboratory test were given and BPS ultrasound were done weekly, yo check if the airways (trachea) are still in good condition and no other parts are affected because of the large mass on his neck. The weekly ultrasound shows that his cystic hygroma is very progressive, it increases from 8 cm to 12 cm before his birth that leads him to come out even if its not due yet.

During his delivery, his life was at stake because a tube need to insert on his mouth in order for him to breath and if its not done in a matter of minutes he will not survive. Luckily Baby Kayden was brave enough to face all of this.

As of now, he was still on hospital NICU, on incubator with a respirator to support his breathing. Laboratory test, ultrasound and other test still going and it is possible that he will undergo Tracheostomy and surgery to remove the mass on his neck.

We are knocking at your heart to help baby kayden on his medication because we cannot afford to finance his rising hospital bills that increases 20,000 pesos (Philippine currency) everyday plus the tracheostomy and surgery that will going to perform.
