Kayaking the Okovango Delta

Please be a part of my Life's adventure by helping me purchase my own kayak business in the Okovango Delta.

In 2014 I became the first and only person to accomplish a solo Trans Okavango in a kayak. My passion for adventure and kayaking made this epic journey possible. After months of planning, supported only by the supplies I could fit into my kayak, I departed from the banks of the Okavango river next to the Mohembo Border. I finally arrived in Maun after paddling 523km in 12 grueling days.

This solo Trans Okavango was the inspiration behind the dream to own my own kayak safari business with a unique outlook to kayaking journeys in the Okavango. Kayaking with fellow adventurers has to include exploration and exposure to nature with a deep sense of solitude in mind. This is an extraordinary way to explore the Okavango. What the money will be used for:

Purchasing of all kayaks, tents, licences, website and equipment to carry on with the day to day operations of the business.

I am an experienced tour leader and guide with 8 years of kayaking experience in the Okavango Delta. I have a strong passion for the outdoors. With my expertise and knowledge of the Delta I will offer a more interesting “off the beaten track” itinerary and have access to areas within the Delta, otherwise off-limits to the independent traveler keeping your safety in mind at all times.
