Kawal: The Board Game

"KAWAL: The Board Game" is a cunning game of strategy set in 17th Century Borneo where players attempt to conquer the island in a unique tile-based game play that re-enacts historical events during the period. Playing as rulers, tribes, commoners and colonisers, the goal of KAWAL is to control as much territory in order to build your empire and defeat your opponents.

In early 2018 we have printed out 10 prototype copies of the board game to share with family, friends and the general public and we are glad to report that the feedback has been amazing! Children as young as 6 have played the game and enjoyed it just as much as the adults did, describing the game as quick-paced, simple to learn and exciting.

With your help, we hope to make the game a commercial reality by being able to print out 500 sets and eventually expand to introduce the board game to an international audience. And we are not stopping there! The game company that we have created, Comet Games Enterprise, are hard at working designing newer game titles and hope to one day become a premiere table-top game company that is proudly based in Brunei Darussalam, Borneo.
