Katie’s BATTLE AGAINST CANCER

I'd like to tell everyone that I will be going through another surgery on August 24, 2017, 8:00AM at Perpetual Succour Hospital here in Cebu City, Philippines. As explained by my Gyne-Oncologist (the one of only two in the whole of Cebu, who can perform the operation) he will have to remove the cancerous part of my reproductive system (crossing my fingers that it hasn't spread that much as of yet) and will have it biopsied again - this is to determine the stage of the cancer and what treatments (chemotherapy) will I have to go through after.

I have gone through a lot of tragic incident last month and literally have had just known about the cancer, and this has cost me most of my emergency savings. I just got back to work and don't have the health insurance from the company as of yet. Me, my family and some really close friends have already come up an amount for the surgery, but I will need extra funds for the further treatments.

Now this may be an embarrassing plea for help, but I will need to swallow my pride for this favor that I'm about to ask from all of you.

I NEED YOUR HELP. I need everyone's help.

I have set up this gogetfunding account for my medical journey in fighting against cancer and hopefully will live long enough to tell the tale that I have won and survive against it.
