Karl’s Fundraising for Medical Bills

My son, Karl Jame B. Guzman, 27 y/o, is still admitted at the hospital with a primary diagnosis of: Encephalopathy, Multifactorial (Hypernatremia-high Sodium level in blood stream, Demyelinating Disease-damage to the protective cover of nerve fibers in our brain, eyes and spinal cord, to rule out Viral Encephalitis-inflammation of the brain because of an infection caused by a virus) and Acute, on top of Chronic Kidney Disease.

Trust me I had a hard time digesting the terms as well, all I know is that it placed my son on a comatose status inside the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) for more than a week now. Even so, I can see him fighting these illnesses as his vital signs are improving.

The doctors advised me that my son needs a supportive treatment to avoid further complications because technically there is no cure for a viral infection and we just have to wait while his body is fighting it.

However, this supportive treatment costs a fortune and we cannot afford as Karl is also the bread winner of our family. Hence, his medical bills keep on piling up.

As a mother it is natural for me to do everything to save my son who's still at the peak to enjoy his life, a role model for his younger siblings and most for him to continue being a blessing to others and achieve his goals.

God said: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7).

I am humbly asking for your help. Help us raise a fund for my son to receive the treatment that he needs for his continuous recovery.
