Karimun Java Sea Turtle Conservation

Sea Turtle Act is a non-profit (not registered) organization that was founded in April 20, 2008. We focused on rescue and rehabilitate sea turtles especially green sea turtles and hawksbill sea turtles. We are located in Menjangan island, one of 27 islands in Karimun Java archipelago.

Our missions is to save the sea turtles from extinction. Sea turtle population has decreased each year. Based on our research, from hundreads of hatchling that we released into the ocean, less then a dozen who can survived. That's the reason for us to continue our work.

We need at least $1200/month to fund our organization. We collect the funds by selling T-Shirt (with sea turtle image in front of it) and from our own pocket. We use it to buy eggs were collected by local people, equipments, transportation, etc.
