Campaign Story
Kara has been fighting a tough battle against Cancer since Thanksgiving 2017; please consider helping... every penny will make a difference!
As Kara was beginning to plan for Thanksgiving of 2017, she was stricken with a troubling cough.
Symptoms worsened that preempted chest x-rays just days after Christmas. The testing began immediately… there were spots needing an explanation.
Roughly two weeks later Kara was officially diagnosed with lung cancer and was told that she is not a surgical candidate.
Since the beginning of the year, she has gone through chemo and immuno-oncology treatments and radiation… and much pain and distress.
Kara has been unable to work for quite some time now, Neal has also missed some work to take care of his wife. Their medical bills are outrageous and Kara is unable to resume chemo at this point...
I greatly appreciate prayers and donations of any kind! I will post updates regularly and hope that we can all help against Kara's Krusade against Kancer! <3
