In need help to completing my international cycle ride in France.

Hi, this is Kannan Rajaram the cycling athlete from India got qualified for international endurance ride in France which named as Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP 2019) started since 1891 of 1200 km distance started from Paris to Brest and way back to Paris(France). It is world's biggest ride which consist 6000 riders under different categories. I got selected and entering into 1200 km with maximum completion time of 90 hours category (Slot-G). PBP2019 will be held on 18 Aug 2019 with the riders from all over the world.

My cycling history was started since 2016, started as commuter to my office which is 32km away from my home which makes me difficult to travel in bus. So, I decided to travel by my Bycycle (Herculus MTB). Daily I covered 64 km, Home – office – Home for a year. Then, I have joined West Chennai Cyclist Club(WCCG) one of the most active club in chennai. And, My friend recommended me to start Endurance rides and which is organized by Audax India Randonneurs (AIR) in India which is recognised by Audax Club Parisien (ACP) in France.

I had started first 300km Endurance Ride on June,2017 in my MTB cycle which was little heavy and very basic cycle. Even though I am from poor background my dad got presented me with new hybrid bike (MONTRA BLUES 1.1) as my birthday gift to appreciate my passion.

Then, I have completed four super randonneur series which of 200km, 300km, 400km and 600km series of rides, and also done 1000km and 1200km endurance rides. And I got awarded with four Super Randonneur title which comprises with series of 200km, 300km, 400km and 600km endurance rides. Before entering into cycling sports, my target is to be best cycle racer. And, after entering into endurance rides I got fixed my short time goal as to participate and finish in Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP 2019),France with better timing. So, I decided to get proper training to achieve my target.

Mr. Gratian Mathew Govias sir who accepted me train to achieve my target. I have joined FIREBOLT the professional racing team in Chennai. I got improved better than before. Then, I have started my racing carrer with my coach’s bless and training. I got attended some road races and Individual Time Trials. I have some mountain climbing too. All my ride done by hybride cycle. If I get Road bike and financial support, I could achieve in more events with better timing.

Finally, I got qualified to participate in PBP2019 as decided.

Recently, I had an accident on 02 Jan 2019 year's first ride and I was in break for two months.

Now, my fracture got healed well enough. And I have started training for PBP2019 to achieve my goal.

I need help to pay registration fee, other expenses and for professional bike which can't done by my own.

If I got enough help, I can reach my successful platform in my life and I will turn to national athlete.

I will succeed in sports.
