Kaluna Community Party

Kaluna Community parties is a community project that has been set up by Libby Kaluna. Libby is

involved in a number of community and charitable projects and as a result has recently won two

Inspiring Women of the Year Awards. The aim of this latest project is to organise two children’s

parties, one in the summer and the other around Christmas time. The parties will cater for 100+

children from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, who would not normally have the privilege of

holidays, days out etc, due to health or financial reasons. We will work with charity partners who will refer families to us to ensure we are helping those in genuine need.

We will be looking to provide the children with a day away from the normal stresses of their day to

day lives. Giving them an opportunity to relax and enjoy a day of socialising, fun and games and of

course party food, in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Achieving this not only requires planning and organisation, but also funding. As you can imagine,

however generous our community is, a party of this scale is not achievable for free. This is where

you come in. We are asking for donations to help us to cover the costs such as venue, food, bouncy

castle etc. All donations will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference, however big or small.
