WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!
Thank you for stopping by our page! As most of you know Bobby Gomez and I got engaged on December 21, 2013. We are no planning our wedding.
We have discussed registering for gifts and we have come to the conclusion that we would prefer to have assistance in funding our wedding and honeymoon instead of receiving gifts. Donations are not necessary but are greatly appreciated from both of us!
This is the easiest way we could come up with for this task. Our wedding will be March 21, 2015!! EVERYONE GET READY!!

♥♥♥♥♥ Here is how it happened: ♥♥♥♥♥
Over Christmas break of 2013 all of Bobby's family that lives with us in Valdosta, GA (South Georgia) got together and decided we were going to travel north to Covington, GA to celebrate the holidays with the rest of the family. The whole car ride went as usual. Not much talking, just listening to music and enjoying the 220 mile journey.
After three hours in a cramped up truck, we finally pulled in the driveway of Bobby's cousin, David & Amy's house. Before we got out of the truck, Bobby turned back to me with excitement in his eyes and told me he had to help David with part of his wife's Christmas present. He explained that since Amy was home and would have noticed if David tried to slip out, that Bobby and his mom were going to finish out the surprise. Without a second thought, I kissed him grabbed my things out of the truck and went in the house with all the other family.
Later, I found out after the he proposed to me that he had actually driven an hour away from where we were to Marietta, GA where my parent live. He went to ask my dad and mom for their blessing to marry him.
Saturday the 21st, the next day was our “Christmas Celebration”. After a wonderful afternoon of hanging around the house with all of the family, we wanted to take a family photo of everyone that was there. We gathered the HUGE group onto the steps and snapped away (Only took us about 20 shots to get the perfect picture).
After we had taken family photos outside, we decided to have all of the kids have a “dance off” in the living room. So all 27 of us piled into the living room and waited for all of the kids to get situated and for the music to start. Before anyone knew what was going on all of a sudden Ronda, Bobby's mom, hushed the entire room, and stated that she had something she wanted to say.
“This has been a very special day for me and my kids and I have cherished every moment and every laugh. I hope we have many-many more of these and I want you to know that I love you all very much and I appreciate you having me and my kids here.”
Once she was done. Bobby chimed in.
“This has been one of the most wonderful Christmas’s for me."
*He turns to me* He said the following:
"I have something I want to say to you Kaitlyn. I remember like it was yesterday the first night we met. The one point when our eyes met and there were those 10 seconds of silence. After three weeks of constant texting and flirting, and thriving to spend time with you I asked you to finally be my girlfriend. After a year and a half, of good time and the most wonderful memories I have ever made, of us having each other’s back no matter what, our little arguments and INSTANTLY making up. I constantly think back to those 10 seconds. And I realize that those 10 seconds changed my life forever. There is nothing that would make my life more complete than to have the most perfect women I have ever met be my wife. Will you please marry me?”
I was so shocked. Through my tear of happiness I stumbled to say that one word… YES! He reached in his pocket and pulled out the ring... my ring. The ring we had looked at Thanksgiving and that I fell in love with. The ring that he had secretly bought that day at the mall and put in his boot as we went home that day. The ring that he had been carrying around in his pocket for a whole month without me knowing anything about it.
