Hello to all of my family and friends,

Re: Wonders of the Canadian West Trip

I will be traveling to Canada next summer in 2015 for an educational experience of a lifetime and I need your help to get there!! 

This will be a 12 day adventure where I will travel to British Columbia, Alberta to see things I may never otherwise be able to see or do on my own. Traveling with the People to People Organization means the world to me as an honor to represent the United States of America and my family.  I feel honored and privileged to have not only been nominated but also accepted for this experience.  Please say you will help me raise the money....

"Experience a whole new country and its unique culture just by crossing the border. We can learn a lot from our friendly neighbors to the north—it’s the perfect introduction to international student travel. On this amazing journey, you’ll track killer whales with naturalists, hike mammoth glacier alongside scientists, and make your own obsidian arrowhead with guidance from an archaeologist. It’s the young adventurer’s adventure!"  

This experience will be educational as this trip will focus on all of these studies: Anthropology, Archeology, Architecture, Art, Conservation, Geology, History, Oceanography, and Political Science.

Here is just a brief list of things I will get to do on my adventure in Canada:

• study the history and heritage of native tribes
• dance with tribal members
• visit the Olympic Park where the Winter Olympic Games of 1988 were held
• explore Victoria’s parliament and have tea at the Empress Hotel
• meet and work with a renowned Archeologist and craft arrow heads
• sleep in a constructed Teepee
• search for Killer Whales
• explore Glaciers and drink the purest glacier water available in the world
