KAI LAIDLAW

My name is Mandy Willcocks and we have set this page up to highlight Kai's journey and to raise awareness of childhood cancer .         Myself and team of 5 friends including my sister Julie smart ( who is terrified !!) are taking on the challenge of Tough Mudder at Dalkeith park on June the 14th .Our aim is to raise some funds for baby Kai to have a treat ,as so far all the money raised has went direct to the charity .Kai is just fifteen months old and is battling a form of leukeamia, he has been in Edinburghs sick kids for eight months of his little life ,he's had to under go 5 blocks of chemotherapy and just recently he had to have a operation to remove his left eye as doctors found a mass behind it.

 Yet through this he has smiled the biggest smile and has the nurses falling in love with him . We would love it if we could raise enough money to give Kai a special treat and I know his little smile and laughter will get us through Tough Mudder !!!! Thank you xxx
