KAASH for SKJH

Kaash (Urdu for "I wish") is a team of 7 individuals in Singapore, working towards raising funds and gathering as many resources to provide for Syeda Khatoon e Jannat Hospital and Special Education Centre (SKJH) in Faisalabad, Pakistan. SKJH, a trust hospital running purely on donations, is currently living hand-to-mouth at best. It believes in providing healthcare for everyone regardless of financial stability, resulting in 80% of its patients receiving free healthcare and 50 out of 65 students in the Special Education Centre receiving free education (the numbers growing, each day).

After a successful Charity Concert held on the 26th of February 2017, raising $2500 from ticket sales as well as donations, Kaash has decided to head to Pakistan for its next venture, working directly with SKJH (note : the full amount stated will be given to the hospital, Kaash will keep no funds for itself). Our primary focus is to develop the Special Education Centre, ensuring that each child receives the education they deserve. All students at the Special Education Centre have specific needs due to their varying disabilities which require qualified teachers and customised curriculum. Due to the lack of funds received at the hospital, Kaash will be working with SKJH to aid in financing the Special Education Centre.

Our aim for this trip is to work with SKJH in developing "Sponsor a Child's Education". This platform will provide each of us the power to educate a child. Many of these children are denied the right to an education, a privilege we sometimes take for granted. Help us aid them in securing their path to a brighter future.
