Bill 168 is Management's club against us all!

My friend and sister-in-law Donna Hudson was Ontario's first victim of the misuse of Bill 168 (Violence in the Workplace). Fees to the right lawyer will finally allow her WHOLE case to be heard. Whether or not you're a Union Brother/Sister, especially CUPE, her arbitration ruling was against you. INJUSTICE is not a strong enough word. She needs $20,000 ($10,000 ASAP)

HELP OUR SISTER!

In August 2010 after 28 years with the City of Kingston, Donna was fired for an alleged threat against then Union President, whose "work" was only his presidency for C.U.P.E. 109, paid by the employer, the City of Kingston.

The argument (threat) was a "he said/she said"; a Union Committee, City Police and E.I found no grounds.

Arbitration was one sided with Donna being "represented" by a Union's lawyer: Conflict of interest?

The Arbitrator chosen was writing a book about Bill 168 and now Donna's name is the star attraction of that book and internet. Bias?

Donna filed a Human Rights case months before being fired but was finally denied in January 2014, Not on it's merits but because her lawyer at the time failed adherence to timelines.

Today, her problem is she has the right lawyer but no money to pay him. Over the past 4 years Donna has had to use her retirement savings to survive and to keep from losing the home she grew up in. The level of discrimination and suffering this situation caused has left Donna nearly broke.

So, as citizens concerned with justice and to all Union Brothers/Sisters, I appeal to you to help Donna!

Any contributions, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.
