I am kindly pleading for financial assistance for the 2018 academic year. This year (2018) I year, I am doing my fourth-year towards a BCOM Accounting degree at the University of Johannesburg. I am intending to continue with my studies until I become a qualified Chartered Accountant.
As Dasjaevian Dixon once said that as a person, you should never allow obstacles to stop you from pursuing what you want in life. He further stated that as a person, you should use your story as motivation to climb higher and never give up. I will, therefore, never allow any obstacle (including lack of funding) to stop me from pursuing my personal goals and dreams. I will persevere by laying one brick at time until I achieve my goal of being a Chartered Accountant.
Since my first year at the University of Johannesburg, I have been part of various projects and student organizations. I have served as Secretary for ABASA UJ Student Chapter for the year 2015/2016. In 2015, I was also part of the Sub-Committee in the same organization. During my studies at the University of Johannesburg, I was also part of ENACTUS which is also a student organisation on campus. This shows that I am ambitious and I am a willing learn and go an extra mile in whatever I do.
Thank you for your consideration in advance. I look forward to this opportunity.
