Taco is a loving, playful 2 year old pit bull who was rescued out of a car at 6 months old. His first home was good but due to family changes he became displaced after 1 year. Since then he has been in boarding shelters and several fosters homes. On May 4, 2013 at his latest foster home, while in his own backyard, TACO was viciously attacked simply because "he is a pit bull and needs to die". Poor Taco thought this man wanted to play with him, but instead, he was stabbed twice by a perpetrator who is still on the loose. Taco never attacked this man, but ran into his home to get away where he was then stabbed again. A warrant for the criminals arrest has since been issued, however, he has not been caught. Taco is now in Westchester Animal Hospital and his rescuer/owner is faced with a bill of $3217.00. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help pay for Taco's medical bills, and help turn this tragedy into a story of hope and healing. Blessings!
