Justice for Car

After being asked by several kind people who wanted to help. I decided to make this. We have $2,000 in emergency vets bills so far... here is the whole story:

I want to preface this by saying... if you abuse animals, you are the lowest form of creature that walks the earth and deserve to be locked away forever.

I just got home and finished cleaning Carl’s blood off of my arms and legs. This morning I got a call from my mom telling me that my step-brother’s dog, Carl, had been attacked by a wild animal. I live right next to my step-brother so I immediately grabbed my first-aid kit and went over.

After getting Carl to lay down and cleaning blood from him, I found that the ONLY wounds were to the top of his head. His face was swelling faster and faster. When my mom got there I told her, “we need to get to the vet, his head wound is too bad.”

This is the same time one of the people staying with my step-brother said that someone saw someone else PURPOSELY beat Carl with a large rock. Someone chained this sweet dog up to a short leash, and beat him for fun in the head.

We know who did it. And right now I won’t blast his name all over the internet (though I really, really want to). I’ll hope and have faith that the Van Wert County Sheriff Office well get him instead.

Carl had to be taken to the emergency vet in Fort Wayne. His bill right now is nearly $3,000. His eyes are non-reactive and his pupils are different sizes, which means he has suffered brain trauma.

Anyone who knows Carl knows how sweet and gentle he is. He wouldn’t hurt a fly. How someone could tie him up, and beat him over and over in the head is beyond me. Humans make me sick.

I will make sure Carl gets the justice he deserves. To the person who did this, you are a sick, sick person.
