My name is Aaron Victor Seivers Sr. My intentions are to raise $10,000 to pay for an attorney to represent me in court. I have been wrongfully convicted of armed robbery and 1st degree assault Some might wonder why I am still fighting after my release, because I’m Innocent and serving 5 years felt like a life time. Being home facing so many hurdles makes me realize being out of prison still isn’t free, justice is freedom. My children don’t deserve the hardships that I continue to face on a day to day basis. I’ve jumped back in to school to continue my education in criminal justice after my release; paid debts that occured while I was gone, contact media, public officials, and whomever I could think of to help right this wrong that is done to me and my family. Seeking employment has been one of my toughest trials. No one wants to give me a chance. I’ve been discriminated against with employment due to my convictions. If this was you would you stop fighting or give up? I can never stop fighting to clear my name. I deserve justice just as the next.
As Dr. King wrote in his Letter from Birmingham Jail, Injustice anyway is a threat to justice everyway. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly”.
I chose this quote from Dr. King because it shows us that no matter what goes on in another state, city, or town what affects one affects us all. With your donations I can get the right attorneys to Fight for Justice. I will not stop professing my innocence’s. Thank you and all glory be to God.
