My name is Vanessa Di Fabio, I am 19 years old and a 2nd year student at Ryerson University. Having lost both of my grandfather's to cancer and watching 3 cousins and 2 close friends battle through their treatments, it is something that has become a big part of my life. Although I am no doctor or chemist and cannot heal them on the inside, if something as simple as donating my hair can help heal them on the outside, I am more than willing to do my part. I have never treated nor coloured my hair and have kept it strong for this reason. I hope that this small gesture on my part will help bring a smile to someone who has lost their hair because of their treatments.
On February 1st I will be donating my hair, the cut will take place at a gala hosted by Ciao Bella Dance Studio. My hair will be donated to Locks of Love.
This website will only accept donations with a paypal account. If you do not have on I will also accept cash or cheque donations.
All proceeds will be going to SickKids Hospital
