The Good Youth is hosting a tournament on the 16th June 2019 to commemorate a protest which resulted in a wave of protests across South Africa known as the Soweto Uprising of 1976. It came in response to multiple issues with the Bantu Education Act and the government edict in 1974 that Afrikaans be used as medium of instruction for certain subjects at schools.

We as the GOOD Youth would like to request donations to make our tournament a success. The funds that will be received will be used to get supplies such as: Awards and gifts for the young people, Balls, Catering for the youth participants, posters, entertainment and advertising the event.

Our aim is to get the youth off The streets, by taking the youth away from the street we save lives from using drugs and getting involved in crime. South Africa has become a dangerous place for the youth to grow up in.

Any donations received towards making our event a success will be highly appreciated.
