Jumpstarting my life long dream of traveling!

Hello! My name is Kaye and I am a senior in high school. When I'm not at school and studying, I work freelance- I do jobs like tutoring and giving out flyers for a small amount of money.

Before going to college to study Interdisciplinary Arts and Psychology, I want to spend my summer travelling locally and internationally. I'm going to apply for a summer internship program in an organization called CAMP PHILIPPINES and I'm also joining in with a non-profit organization to go to different places and teach underprivileged kids from remote villages.

I have always loved travelling to different places and enjoying different cultures, taking photographs of what I see through my eyes, leading to whole another perspective to see through. After college, I also planning to take a year off and volunteer to teach underprivileged kids in my country and hopefully help other nationalities as well.

I promised myself that after I finished my college entrance exams and applied for various scholarships, I would dedicate this time to find my happiness through travelling. You may ask me "why not ask for money from your parents?", I would if I want to but this experience would be a thousand times memorable if I worked for it solely; a bit of independence never hurt anyone.
