On behalf of the graduating class of BS Interior Design of Mapua University and in partnership with Hospicio de San Jose, we are pleased to announce our upcoming design exhibit this January 4, 2018. We, a team of 15 students are tasked with one goal — to refurbish and renovate the orphanage center for toddlers by providing a space that would help develop their creativity and independence through playing and learning.
In the Philippines, there are an estimated 1.8 million children left abandoned by their parents which overwhelms orphanages as they struggle to provide even the basic food and shelter that will greatly affect the mental, physical and emotional development of each child from a very early age. These gradual changes could ultimately have a big impact in our society as a whole and our purpose is to help these children have a childhood they deserve and your gracious support would provide a better foundation for the children’s future.
It will be our utmost pleasure that contributions of any kind will be gratefully appreciated as together we will help build a bright future for the toddlers of Hospicio de San Jose.
