https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gekQ2nfzZfQ&t=207s The sad Jugomaro story.

In the early hours of 25th May 2018 at 2am, the Fernandes family were hit with a massive tragedy when 4 of their beautiful cats were poisoned at their new park in Vaalwater. They had only been at their new home for a short 2 weeks and had lived in a caravan for over 2 years waiting for permits to be able to move the cats. They endured very bad storms and living conditions, sacrificing everything for their beloved animals. Justin spent 9 months building the new home for the cats. At the new park, he built beautiful enclosures with trees, pools and lots of space to roam. Sadly, their dreams were shattered and lives torn apart on this fateful morning. Elvis, Kai, Taariq and Hercules were poisoned and died very painful deaths. They bit into the fences in agony and died in the arms of their owners who are now grief stricken beyond belief. Many of us witnessed the live videos, and so many cannot stop crying, as we have spent time and fed these beautiful and lovable creatures. They died a senseless death and it will take forever for the Fernandes family to pick up the pieces of their broken hearts. We as a community, as a country and worldwide want to show our love and support for everything they have done and sacrificed for these cats. Pls watch the videos of the Jugomaro story and of that heartbreaking morning where they lost 4 of their children. We want to raise money to give back to them, help to upgrade the security, maintain the park, help feed the cats and to simply show our compassion for their loss. Pls open your hearts so we can help them to start rebuilding the lives of the cats once again, like they have done on so many occasions. Our aim is to raise R500 000 by the 25 July 2018 which will mark the two month death anniversary of the cats. We pray that this will be the end of tragedies and that they can live in peace and continue to share the lives of their cats with us and the rest of the world. The 4 Warriors were laid to rest on Sunday 27th May, cremated and will be cemented in their graves so nobody can ever get to them again. We love you guys...
