Friends, dear ones!

Thank you for being in my life!

I'm reaching out to you to share and receive..

As many of you know, I recently reached out for a phone...The response was very heart warming, and I was even offered to be sponsored with one months rent!

For this reason I reach out now with great optimism.

Many of you know that I live here, as a resident, of Kadampa Meditation Center New York.

This month marks 2 years into my journey of chosing to be here in community, benefitting others in such a profound atmosphere in so many different ways.

This is my home.

It is also the place where I feel I can serve best.

I have reached a point where my personal funds to support my life of service to the community have run out.

Despite having part-time, off-campus work, for the last year, my call to be here and serve, always seems to outweigh my wish to "go out" and seek more ways to obtain rent money.

Basically, I'd rather just keep helping here!

Did you know that in the last 2 years since my residency, you may have eaten a few of the treats I have conjured up, to help raise funds for the International Temple's Project? 😊...

Literally over 3,000 hand made Bliss Bites have passed through my hands and have sold in the temple Cafe!.. At least 1,000, lovingly baked, scones!...

Perhaps you even picked up a piece of beautiful second-hand clothing, or chatcke, from 2 of the most successful rummage sales, in the history of our annual Fun Fair--that I helped organize! Phew! Lots of blood, sweat, and tears too 😛

Living and "working" here feels deeply meaningful and I have a wish to continue to serve you, and life, in this way.

So now I'm turning to you, the wider community, to support my wish to stay and continue to serve.

It would be so wonderful if I did not have to wonder "how I will make the rent this month"?

And it just seems silly to put more time and energy elsewhere, when I'd much rather keep putting it into this special place of benefit for all-that I get to share with you!- in such an extraordinary way.

My goal is to gather 12 months of rent. Totaling $6,060.

PPS. Just a practical FYI..I have lived a simple, economical, debt-free existence my whole life!! All money donated will go towards paying my monthly rent of $505 to KMC New York.
