Joy for Family

Hello,

This is not going to be a request of funds due to financial and family hardships, though we have had our share. This is a request for joy.

I am a proud husband and father. I am a professional working man and simply cannot seem to get ahead of the curve. My family has accumulated debt over the past 10 years due to medical expenses and school related debt. We did suffer a miscarriage of our twin boys at 18 weeks after trying for 10 years to get pregnant. We tried everything, and none of it was covered by insurance. Of course, how life goes, after we stopped trying we got pregnant and now have our beautiful daughter.

My wife and daughter are the center of my universe, my purpose and my joy. My job as a husband and father is to bring them joy in return. I give love and 100% of myself every day. But I cannot save a dime, because every cent of every paycheck goes to paying down debt.

To be clear, I am not behind on debt, I am not being harassed by collectors and my credit is not being effective. This is a proactive attempt before other tough choices have to be made. And yes, in about 15 years of steadily paying everything down the debt will be gone. But we all know how life just happens.

I am asking for at least $25,000 to bring my family some joy. Allow me to pay down our debt, allow us to start saving, and eventually be able to look ahead, be able to save for my daughters college, be able to save for our retirement. I am 40 years old and still have not been able to do this.

And lastly, and most importantly, pay it forward. Your donation will not only provide joy to my family, but to a many other families just like mine that I will be able to give to. And I promise, on the love of my family, it will be done.
