I was always that child would be sketching in class. My teachers would tell my mom that, 'she is always drawing or sketching something'. We can see that she is a creative child.....Well my 3 most favorite classes were Art, Geography and Mathematics....So by14 years I would watch Top Billing and be so amazed by the beautiful homes and buildings. I knew from then I wanted to be an Architect no matter what....fast-forward- in 2008 I applied at University of Johannesburg when my mom was still alive. Then she passed when i got accepted for 2009. However due to her death I had no-one else to pay my fees. I tried to get sponsorship, then on the brink of getting it. I was denied. So I decided to defer for 2010 and I could not afford. Just because I was stubborn I applied to Limkokwing University in Malaysia and The New School in New York. Talk about being ambitious, I was accepted to Limkokwing and not The New School. Looked for sponsorship and did not get again. So my spirits were low for the longest. I decided to find work instead. Over time the universe kept on reminding me of my dreams. I finally enrolled at AIE finally after sooo long and completed my NQF5 in 2019 and I was meant to continue to NQF6 in 2020 but Covid happened. I am here now not wanting to give up and looking for assistance to continue this journey to being an Architect.
