Journey To Google HQ for Google Summer Of Code Mentor Summit

Well, The world we currently live in is full of Technology and with each passing day a new technology or a gadget is brought in the market to serve the people lives in one or the other way.

This Campaign is about one such similar event which is organised by the Google in order to introduce to the world about Open Source Stack ( Technological and computational things ).

There is a program by Google named as Google Summer Of Code which is a global program focused on introducing students to open source software development. Students work on a 3 month programming project with an open source organization during their break from university and Mentors are tunned with the students working on various projects.

Later on, 2 mentors of various Organisation that participates in this event are sent to represent their organisation in this event at Google,USA. I being selected as one of the Delegate will be representing and discussing about my organisation SugarLabs at this Summit.

This campaign will help me to raise Funds for my other travelling, Meals and Hotel Stays at the USA apart from the dates which Google offers. I will also be visiting Open Source Initiative Headquarters in order to collaborate and discuss on more plans with great folks there but this expenses will be at my Cost which sounds me inexpensive for now. It would be great to seek support from the world to help and grow the Technological world by introducing various Ideas at these events.

Google Only Offers 2 night Stays and Flights Ticket but the other cost of local transportation and flights to other places including meals are on own expense.
