Campaign Story
On Thursday August 28, 2014, My brother, Josue was in a tragic motorcycle accident in Doral. He was ejected and thrown 80 feet. The group he was riding with, left him in the street to bleed to death. Fortunately, a passing motorist called 911. He spend 2 weeks in trauma ICU at Kendall Regional and an additional 2 weeks hospitalized. He underwent blood transfusions, skin grafts, and surgeries. His life was saved but. his right leg will be permanently disabled. He faces the next 12 months in additional surgeries and therapy in an attempt to regain partial function of his leg. Josue's profession is as a plumber. He will no longer be able to work. He is the sole provider for his family, including his three young children. By the Grace of God he is alive but, now faces a serious issue on how to pay medical expenses and provide the basic needs for his family. I ask that anyone able please find it in your hearts to reach out and help this family.
