Josie’s Leadership Journey

Hi everyone!

This is Josie!  I am so excited to get to this camp!!  It is so important to me to be able to not hold myself back in anyway when it comes to what I am put on this earth to accomplish. I know at this camp I get to learn how to, and be proud to, be a person with personal responsility, have self confidence, and accomplish dreams I have. To be a great leader, I must have these!  My dream is to be a Christian music singer and also to start a teen prison ministry to help kids to understand they are loved and cherished, and are capable of choosing to lead a really happy life and contibute great things to this world. This camp is just the start I need to be able get this going. To be a great leader, this camp offers me all I need to do  that. Here is a little about it from their website...

 At Youth Leadership Camp, your teen will discover the value of working as a team with their peers. They will learn to trust others and develop trust-worthiness in themselves. Teens will learn how resistance (to their parents, teachers, responsibilities, etc) affects a cycle of resentment in their lives. They will also have experiences that will allow them to reconcile painful experiences that have been holding them back. As in all levels of training, teens will learn about the power of belief systems, known as sunglasses, and learn to recognize and remove the belief systems that are preventing them from the life and future they want.

The $3400 will go toward the camp fee of $2795 and my plane ticket. This camp is in California and I live in Washington State.
