Joshua’s Wish OZ Experience

I am Chloe, an A Level student at my local Sixthform studying English Language, Art, Photography and Media Studies. I am working in a group of 4 girls to raise money for the charity we have recently been informed about named 'Joshua's Wish'.

About the Charity
Joshua's Wish provides a helping hand for children diagnosed with terminal cancer, and their families. It was created by Sarah Cornelius-Price on September 5, 1998, named after her son Joshua who died in 1998 aged seven after a two year battle with Desmoplastic Round Cell Tumour of the abdomen. Joshua's Wish is a national charity that provides holidays and experiences all around the world.
In result of this, A Level students all over the UK are raising money in able to complete the USA/Australia experience.
The overall cost will be halved, with 50% of funds covering costs of the expedition to Australia/USA and associated running costs. The remaining 50% goes to the work of the Joshua's Wish providing holidays and experiences for children with terminal cancer. By this experience, we will have the opportunity to travel Australia to engage in conservation projects under the auspices of CVA (Australia's largest conservation agency). Without your help, this experience will not be possible unless we raise £3,000 individually.

About the experience
Teams will travel out to Australia in groups of 20-30 approx, flying into various cities where they will spend a few days enjoying local sights and events. After a few days in the host city, the group moves out into the 'bush', the mountains or coastal nature reserves where they are involved in various conservation projects: Forestry work (tree planting), hydrology projects, or animal welfare projects. At the end of this week, we will travel to Sydney where we will enjoy a few days of leisure, including climbing the famous Harbour Bridge, a visit to the local oncology hospital for children, sight-seeing shopping.
To secure a place on the trip each individual who manages to raise £3,000 will be able to take part in this experience.
