We have created this campaign for the purpose of raising funds for the Open Heart surgery of our only son, Joshua Daniel Zapansa Subagan, diagnosed with Atrioventricular Septal Defect (AVSD) with Severe Pulmonary Stenosis, a complex case of Congenital Heart Defect. His case was detected when he was only 6 months of age when he was brought to a hospital for pneumonia treatment on November 20, 2017, and was confirmed on the 1st day of December the same year. Another 2 sets of tests were done all with the same results. We are advised to raise funds for his immediate treatment as early as possible. However, due to his complex case and failure to raise the needed fund, his treatment has been a struggle. From this period up to present, he’s having his regular check-up at the Philippine Heart Center to monitor his condition.
Along the course of his journey, Joshua Daniel was hospitalized on May 2019, due to Streptococcus Pneumoniae, resulting to on-and-off high fever and blood infection. Funds collected initially for his cause were all consumed for his hospitalization. He also underwent a Dental Rehabilitation on October 2022, and has undergone Head CT Scan to check on his headache complaint prior to his dental surgery. He's been given a Dental Clearance and CT Scan results were good, clearing his way for the next possible surgery needed for his treatment. As recommended by his Pedia-Cardiologist, Joshua Daniel, now 6 years old, needs to undergo an Open Heart Surgery for his treatment to avoid any complications caused by his condition.
We pray that God will be with us during this time of struggle and may His healing power be upon Joshua Daniel for him to have a normal and healthy life ahead. Thank you all for the love and care.
