MEET JOSEY MARTIN 

Josey was introduced to clay shooting at 11 years old.  From the beginning,she showed a huge desire to compete as a shooter.  Josey, (now13 years old), has been working with Tom John, a nationally acclaimed sporting clays competitor, for about 2 1/2 years.  In April 2014, Josey will continue to pursue her dream of becoming a member of Team USA and start working with Gebben Miles, currently ranked #3 in the world of her sport.  Her love for the clay and wing shooting has become  more evident with the progress she has made in her shooting ability. This young lady has become a fierce competitor in the sporting clay discipline.  After high school, her desire is to attend a major university by way of a scholarship in the clay target sports arena. Josey's ulitimate goal is to make team USA and represent the USA in the Olympics.  She knows the hard work and dedication required to achieve this goal.  She has already shown the commitment and sacrifice required to be the best she can be.

Josey  will attend several major clay sporting events this year and years to come.  There is so much travel and cost to such a wonderful sport.  Any help in Keeping Josey's dreams and talent alive is greatly needed.

 Here is some examples of the cost....

 on a average $1360.00 a month or $16,500.00 a year

$140.00 per week  for ammo

$200.00 per week for targets (Josey shots 500 rounds per week now. For Josey to compete for a spot on TEAM USA she will need to double her practice within the next year) 

On top of all this, entry fees to competition shoots average about $500.00 per event.  She competes in between 7-10 major blasts per year.  In addition to all these expenses, there are travel expenses.
