Jordan Timmy Ashley’s Reward Fund

I'm seeking funds to increase the reward money in my son's murder case.  On August 23, 2012, my 21 year old son, Jordan Timothy (Timmy) Ashley, followed his normal routine of taking the bus home from his job and walking home.  However, this time his return home would change his life and the lives of everyone who loved and cared about him forever.  As Timmy walked home, two men approached him and attempted to rob him.  During the robbery, they shot and killed him.  He collapsed and died 200 yards from home.  Our family has suffered unimaginable and immeasurable pain and grief, because Timmy was an amazing person who positively touched the lives of so many people.  Timmy was intelligent, fun-loving, compassionate, humorous, affectionate, and caring.    

 

Over a year has passed and no one has been arrested for his murder.  Although nothing except time can ease some of the pain we feel from his loss, capturing the perpetrators would offer us a measure of comfort. The District Attorney believes that the offer of a substantial reward would lead to a break in the case and the subsequent arrest of the perpetrators.  Those of you who know us realize that it's very difficult for us to ask for financial assistance from our families and friends.  However, we refuse to allow pride to prevent us from obtaining justice for Timmy. Please contribute to the reward fund if you cared about Timmy or if you believe that criminals should be held accountable for their actions.
