Jordan Bason Cycling Sponsorship

I am 20 years old and my aim for 2014 is to seek sponsorship which will help me on my journey to join a UCI Cycling team. To do this, I need you to sponsor me as I need to concentrate on training and racing rather than cost issues. I need to gain my 1st CAT license and this can only be achieved through gaining points in a number of races.

On leaving school I knew my dream was to cycle but like everyone you need money. At 15 I became the UK National Time Trial Champion and on leaving school was very lucky in obtaining full time work in an engineering company however, after the challenges of training and keeping a full time demanding job at 17 realised I was suffering from the efforts of Gilberts Syndrome which develops into extreme tiredness and your body does not get nourished! Still wanting to race I managed to overcome this with the help of professionals. From this I have riden for a small number of sponsored teams and then in 2013 I became a MG Maxifuel rider. In August 2013, I decided to make the monumental decision to concentrate on the training necessary in this country and abroad. Cycling at this level is unfortunately not just about cycling and this is where I need your help. I am presently cycling for NFTO Race Team .

As of finishiing work my personal sponsorship is limited.

Although I have been very frugile to save I still need to meet the basic race costs and to help with other factors. UK businesses and individuals have a record for supporting talent and this is vital in ensuring that young people like me are helped to improve the future of UK riders.
