My name is Joseph Eliabson, founder Crystal Horizons Youth Centre (CHYC), a youth organisation based in Johannesburg.
It has been nearly two months since the Coronavirus was declared a pandemic . Since then Health experts and governments around the globe are struggling to contain this new virus.
In South Africa, the President firstly announced a national state of disaster end of March for 21 days; This was extended for another period of 2 weeks and there is a high possibility that this will also be extended; While many commended the Government for this bold action, poor families were left wondering where they will get Food. Many people are in informal sector and get paid only when they go to work, this includes domestic workers, gardeners and informal traders. The Government has tried to support the underprivileged but the help is not enough and is not getting to all who really deserve it; among those who did not get anything and are facing starvation include thousands of elderly mostly refugees and migrants as they do not qualify for government support. Your support will help us feed at least 100 families who are seriously facing hunger; some have not eaten for days in South Africa.Rewards
you will receive a book being written on how Poor People are surviving during the Coronavirus lockdoowns in Africa.
