Who we are

We are an organisation based in Cape Town that seeks to provide mentors for at-risk high school students in Gugulethu. Many of these children have no positive adult influence in their lives and are thus at a great risk of engaging in anti-social behaviour such as drug use and gangsterism.

What we do

Anti-social behaviour from the learners has been an ongoing problem in the township for many years and now we seek to break this cycle of the development of criminal behaviour by assigning positive role models to the learners who are most in need. The mentors will offer advice, support and guidance to their mentee as well as help their mentees spread awareness of the dangers of engaging in anti-social behaviour to their peers.

What we need donations for

We are in need of funding for the activities that the mentors will participate in with their mentors, transport for the learners and mentors as well as food for the learners.

What we have done so far

We have already started work at this school and are now working on a drug awareness campaign that is being planned and implemented by our mentees with the help of their mentors
