The dignity of proper housing cannot be understated. For many of us, living on the streets, or living in our vehicles is simply unimaginable. For many though, it is a stark reality, and a heavy daily reminder of their current circumstances. We believe housing is an essential need, and one that can provide a multifaceted benefit. We believe in the dignity that comes with safe, clean, and secure housing. A warm bed, a hot shower, a nice meal. These are some of the things we tend to take for granted in our lives.

Being homeless, being a victim of trafficking is not a choice. Most think of homelessness as a choice in some form and drugs are most times the reason. This is not true! I have met a lot of homeless people, most are not on drugs. Some turn to drugs after becoming homeless. Circumstances in life cause different reactions for all individuals! You can have two different people come from the same home and their reactions to circumstances in life will come out completely different. I know millionaires who have become homeless. Anyone can be a paycheck or two away from being homeless. We are all people, do not judge.

That's why we at Spirit Of Giving Organization work to empower the homeless and trafficking victims. Everyone at a point in their life need a leg up and we all should be here not to turn a blind eye. Help us at SO-GO to empower the homeless by helping them with different skill sets, business skills, temporary shelter and permanent shelter so that we can together end homelessness.
