WHO WE ARE?

Hi everyone!

We are Erwin and Ellen. We are full-time volunteers. We have left our jobs to answer the need in the refugee crisis. And in our journey, we would like to share with you what we have been doing in Greece through OM Hellas, a Christian organisation in Greece.

We have been working alongside OM Hellas since the refugee crisis in Greece 3 years ago. Through the giving of people, we have been sustained by grace. And now, we have come again to the point where we have to raise our financial support for another year to continue in volunteering as full-time for the refugee works in the camps.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We have been helping the refugees by giving them relief goods (food, clothing, medicine, hygiene materials) in the camps and outside the camp. We drive them with a van from the camps to the market to get their weekly food supply at a bazaar and to the clinics whenever and wherever it is needed. We are doing sports activity with the children that are from three different camps (Lavrio and Sounio). We help in teaching English in 2 different locations for children and adults, and building a life development program for the betterment of their livelihood. At the moment, we are, together with other wonderful donors, building and furnishing together a small school where teaching and learning will be easier especially for the winter and summer seasons.

WE NEED YOU!

As full-time volunteers, we do not receive a monthly income or have no other source of income. We are fully dependent on what people give to us to meet our basic needs and to be able to have something to give in response to the urgent need in the field.

We have seen the need and we just cannot ignore it. Our desire is to continue in working for the refugees full-time but we cannot do this alone. We need your help to make this happen.
