Campaign Story
11 years ago Michele, Alberto and then Gianluca started their NYC adventure opening a temporary store at the Union Square market. In these 11 years they opened 4 Piccolo Cafes and the brand new Lucciola. Most of you saw them growing into this business and shared with them and all the Piccolo Cafe and Lucciola group a meal, a smile, a memory.
In light of the current novel COVID-19 outbreak and the persistent threat of global pandemics, Michele, Alberto, Gianluca and all the Piccolo Cafe and Lucciola group cannot sit back and not act on behalf of our collective staff and those in need.
While we are carefully continuing our operations on a delivery and take out regime only, we are giving out discounts and discounted gift cards as we continue to support you our consumers, guests and friends as much as we can. We now have also to take care and find a solution to support our staff and our business. The future is uncertain and we have no idea how the next weeks will unfold. We are therefore launching this fundraising platform to be able to continue to offer options to our community, staff and families in a sustainable manner.We are putting in extra hours to make sure we can meet the needs of our community. We are here to ask you to make the extra mile with us and to support us supporting you, as a real Family and Community can do. Please join us in the effort to make a difference in these difficult times, give us the chance to keep dreaming as we did when we came to NYC 11years ago.
