Johns NPC Cancer Fund

I wanted to start this fundraiser for donations for my fiance, john. He is by far one of the most beautiful people i have ever known. Despite all of the challanges he has overcome he has still kept on with a positive outlook on life. John and I first found out on Feb 1st that we were expecting our first child. So excited, we seen this as an oppertunity to create the family that we always wanted and wish we could have had. Seven months have come and gone and john had started to expierance swollen lymph nodes, that no matter what we tried, just wouldnt go away. One day I decided to take him to an ear, nose and throat doctor to see what was going on. The doctor, gave us rather bad news on the spot saying that john most likely has cancer. We both sat there and just cried together. John was diagnosed in july with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma stage III Cancer. Its more of a rare cancer in the united states, only about 2,000 people get it per year as it is seen more commonly in china and asia. Although treatable, with chemotherapy and radiation, we didnt expect anything like this. Although it has put a massive halt on our lives and financial situation john has never stoped focusing on me, our expected son, our family or friends. He doesnt dwell on the pain from his cancer, but the good in the beauty of life and in people. I want to show him that there are people in the world just like him, who strive to see the best in any situation. Thank you.
