John Danek’s College Fund

Howdy Everybody!   I'm 21 years old and currently a sophomore in college at San Jacinto College. I am almost done with my basics and will be moving on to a big university to study Nutritional Sciences! I have applied to the University of Houston, and with my grades, I have no doubts I will be accepted. I would like to start attending next fall. My biggest obstacle right now is obviously funding. I am kind of in a weird place when it comes to financial aid. My dad and step mom, while not very wealthy themselves, make too much money according to FAFSA, so I do not qualify for a pell grant. Currently, I have been paying my school debts off in payments and I make just enough at my job to cover these. Unfortunately, when I go to The University of Houston, I will no longer be able to afford the payments because I do not make enough money and I will have to cut my hours to focus more on school. I am asking for generous people to make my education a reality! The money I am asking for is strictly to cover books and tuition. My parents are going to try to help me as much as they can with a place to live and food, but they can only do so much as they have a house full of people to provide for.
