John Carfe Belarmino’s Hospital/Medical Fund

On October 25th, at 1am (Philippine time), my 17-year old brother, John, was walking with my Aunt on a pedestrian lane, when this jeepney swerved in their direction, severely injuring him. The jeepney stopped and while it was idling, my Aunt walked a few steps closer to see the license plate, only to realize that it was reversing back with the intention of hitting my brother again. In the spur of the moment, my Aunt went back to him, hugged him and started screaming for help. The jeepney then turned off his lights (so no one can read his license plate) and started moving, this time to escape the scene. A policeman in the area claimed to help chase the driver but never came back.

My brother is now situated in ICU at the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center, still under observation and medication. He's on a ventilator to help support his breathing. Some tests found that he has acquired a blood clot in the head and hasn't been conscious since the unfortunate incident.

There is no one else they can count on financially to pay for the hospital bills since my dad passed away and so your help is greatly appreciated to support his ongoing medication and recovery.
