Joe’s Service and Development

My goal is three-fold
a) Spend 10-days supporting friends in Central Asia with the hopes of initiating university connections for the sake of cross-cultural opportunities, English-practice for students, and the good news. May 13-23.
b) Spend a week in Southeast Asia to catch up with friends and contacts from my previous 4 summers for the sake of the good news, while supporting one of my international mentors.May 23-31.
c) Attend NAFSA (National Association of Foreign Student Advisers) Conference in Denver Colorado. The conference theme is "Building Capacity for Global Community." I am beginning to head in the direction of pursuing a career in International Student Services. This conference would serve as a good entrance into this career path. I believe this job can be redeemed and done well for the sake of the good news. May 31 - June 3.
