WELCOME to our funding page! 

We are excited by this opportunity to announce a venture that is nearing 60% complete for all preparations needing to begin conducting beta tests of our concept.  In order to get it through this phase and to a point where we can begin the developing of prototypes we need some help!

What we are actively developing is a server based application that will run on any smart device, computer, and on a specially configured vehicle mounted device being developed using commercially available components. This application will track the location of any client registered device and will report not only the location of that device - but all others being operated in the vicinity!  This movement data will be saved and reported real-time for immediate viewing or review at a later time with playback.  We are specifically targeting mines, construction sites, and other equipment heavy type operations where situational awareness and proximity detection are vital safety and operational components.

This system is being designed with the end user in mind and is being evaluated, during development, by professionals in the mining industry with 20+ years of experience.  This product is designed to be simple - yet exponentially powerful as additional services are added throughout the 3 phases of this project that will be briefly discussed.  This will not only be a powerful tool for the equipment operator that can visually see their piece of equipment on the backdrop of a customed GPS map for a facility, along with others working around them; but it is set up for managers that will have access to the full series of data and can monitor (real-time) their operations.  This will be at a fraction of the cost for other similar solutions that are more complicated, less user friendly, and limited in the systems they are compatible with.  

We are currently calling this system the Jobsite Situational Awareness System or J-SAS, but are primarily focused on setting the groundwork for three exciting phases of this project over the coming years:

1.  First-Phase: Real-time Multi-Georeference Tracking; Proximity Alerts and Detection; Playback features for post-incident awareness; and efficiency tools for supervisors and managers to track: idle time; number of equipment runs; efficiency of repetitious movements; identification of bottle-necks; and other exciting features that will grant a whole new level of awareness to facility supervisors and managers.

2. Second-Phase: Incorporate training related features into the graphic user interface (GUI) or display.  Allow training managers to track personnel operating equipment; log equipment usage by operator; track training and pre-operation completion on equipment with 100% reliability; and move the first-phase over to a application based system with server support (instead of 100% server based).

3. Third-Phase: Develop and incorporate a equipment monitoring component were things such as: RPM, temperature, gear used, speed, etc is captured and reported near real-time to the server and managers.  Alerts would flash if these values went outside of client determined ranges.    

This system will dramatically improve overall situational awareness and safety for operators, while at the same time enable supervisors/managers to operate their facility/project at an entirely new level.  This will also greatly assist maintenance managers in ensuring efficient and proper use of equipment to better control/limit damage to critical assets (regardless of manufacturer).

There really are a limited number of options to businesses and all of them are so prohibitive in their price that only the largest businesses can afford them.  By using readily available components on the market we are able to offer even more comprehensive solutions at a fraction of prices currently being charged - making it available to all of industry! 

Options are so limited that regulatory agencies are trying to help search and have even looked at options such as a modified GPS device for boats!  

We are excited to have an opportunity to change this and to better impact safety and awareness on the jobsite for an affordable price - but we need YOUR help to make this happen!
