Campaign Story
Short Summary
On September 7th, 2012, at approximately 10AM MT, Jim Hodgson slipped while working on a hopper train car and had both legs run over by the train wheels.
What We Need & What You Get
Jim's accident falls under the umbrella of Workman's Compensation, which will cover medical expenses and a portion of his salary, but his recovery could take years. This campaign is meant to help offset any unforeseen costs that may occur.
Jim may be in the hospital for the next 6 weeks. We are looking for donations to help cover costs associated with travel to and from the hospital and modifications to his home to accomodate a wheelchair that he may be in for the next couple of years.
The Impact
Jim is a husband and a Father of three children under the age of 9. Currently he is in the Hospital that is 45 miles from his home.
By donating to Jim's campaign you will help to offset some of the expenses for his children, the cost for his family to drive to the hospital and the modifications his home will need to make it wheelchair accessible.
Other Ways You Can Help
Please direct people to Jim's campaign. Every dime helps to reach our goal of $25,000.
Thank you.
