In 2015 my Nephew Craig Steadman was diagnosed with bowel cancer, he bravely fought this horrible disease and last Dec he won his battle against cancer, however he still has to have scans every so often as a precautionary measure .it was such a happy and very emotional time hearing this news, until in Jan this year 2016 I was unfortunately diagnosed with bowel cancer. I have completed 6 week's of chemo and Radiotherapy . On Friday 8th April I finished my treatment and my scans which I have to pay for, then I have a meeting a week later to set a date for my operation to remove the Tumour. On Sunday 10th April I Traveled from West ham to Fulham, then walked 6miles from Fulham to Wembley Way with lots of fund raisers from the brilliant Jonjo team. This was all in aid of The Nanny (Jonjo's Nan)and The Sir Bobby Moore Fund raising team. Jonjo Heuerman BEM started the cycle ride on the 1st April from Germany with the Jules Rimet trophy and paraded through Germany and into Holland before heading back to join us at Fulham FC to walk the 6 miles to The Booby Moore stature in Wembley way.A very Proud and very emotional day with wonderful people. I also did a bucking bronco challenge and won on 15th April in Spain, against Liecester fans,on the day West Ham drew with Liecester.I am planning more challenges with a sky dive in June, and many more,

Jim's story

Early this year i was unfortunately diagnosed with bowel cancer. I have completed 6 week's of chemo and Radiotherapy . On Friday 8th April I finished my treatment and i have undertaken various Test and PET,CT and MRI scans. The results have been very positive, however at my last results meeting i was told that i still have the vascular deposits on the outside of my bowel wall. The only way to hopefully clear these is by surgery.

This is major surgery and because the Vascular deposits are so low down in my bowel it is a very specialist and delicate life changing operation. I will loose a large part of my bowel and so it was recommended i go to a specialist hospital to try and save some of my bowel and help me to live a near normal life.

To do this i would need to raise funds so I can have this major operation. The funds are to cover the cost Of the consultation and scans prior to this operation.

Any help donating to my GoGetFunding page would be deeply and very gratefully appreciated.

so Please help me ,in finding a cure into beating cancer by donating what ever you can to help into the research in beating bowel cancer xx Let's All Kick cancer's Butt together and a Big Thank you in Advance . James xxxxx
