With over three hundred thousand people going to a single EDC rave event, what is the Church doing about this demographic? Marcus Gaude a personal friend of mine had a girl die at a rave, in his arms. This has happened before due to a God size hole being experienced at these events. What can donating or investing into a rave that includes Jesus do to fill this hole?
Mission:
The purpose of Jesus Massive is to lift Him up through four interwoven things: Ministry, Christian electronica worship, dance and creative arts.
Jesus Rave (Radical Audio Visual Events) uses these tools to deliver the message of the Bible to revive the church and save
the lost.
Jesus massive is an annual event that was founded in 2009 by Tobiah Neiditch an ordained pastor and minister of the non profit “The Glorified Church Inc.”
Q&A Wrong conceptions about Electro music and God I have heard:
Q. Any music above a human heart beat is not God.
A. The humming birds heart beat 100 beats a second.
Q. Rave is not a godly thing
A. The word "Rave" true definition can actually relate to; applaud, approve, blow horn, boost, celebrate, cheer, clap, commend, compliment, eulogize, exalt, extol, give a bouquet, give a posy, give kudos, hail, hand it to, hear it for, honor, laud, praise, push*, rave , recommend, root, salute
Q. That is only for those young people.
A. Electro music is accepted and events are attended by all age groups.
Q. You cant minister at a rave.
A. We minister over ambient music. We try to not stop the music. Just as a dance party doesn't stop the music, try to preach through the music: sing, use vocoder (robotic synthesizer), diva (female singer) etc...
Q. Drug addicts might come. lol
A. Drug addicts also come to church.
Q. Music and dancing aren't in the New Testament.
A. Look up the prodigal son. There was music and dancing unamplified by speakers but the brother heard it from outside in the field it was so loud.
Q. How can I do a rave for Jesus?
A. Use Ministering, Turntables, Dancing, and art!
Q. How can you compete with the worlds rave now?
A. God isn’t just creative he is the creator. Watch him do what creative people only imagined but cant without Jesus
